Today’s post is how to put tags inside your Wordpress post. I don’t know why many of the blogger out there want this feature for their blog, but according to them it adds SEO point. It could be true for all of your “keyword” which is happen to be your tags is properly anchored which make the crawler recognize as your keyword.

Modifying Your Post Template to add Tags (Wordpress)

First is you need to locate your post template. It is different in many template but normally it is in “single.php /Single Post”. All you need to do is analyze your single.php and determine where do you want to place your TAGS. For best result, it is recommended on the bottom part of the page before the comment box. It should be similar to this:

Then insert this code “<p><?php the_tags( ‘<p>Tags: ‘, ‘, ‘, ‘</p>’); ?></p>” in any place inside your single.php you desired. As I have mentioned, it should be on the bottom part of your page after your post or before the comment box.

Now after doing that, check one of your post and see if everything is ok and look for your tags. Re-edit your single.php if you want to do some adjustment. That’s it! You successfully put your tags in your Wordpress Post template.

Decode the Encrypted Links in Your Wordpress Footer

It takes me three days to figure out how to do this, but it is really easier than you think. Some of the manual in the internet to fix this will require you to go to another site for decryption of coded footer while it can only be done in few easy step.

The first thing you need to do is locate when exactly the footer.php start to execute, you can do this by opening your index.php inside your theme’s folder using any text editor and ftp client, I use notepad for this. It is also possible to use the built in editor of Wordpress under Appearance, Theme and Edit,  then look for the code “<?php get_footer(); ?>” at your index.php.

Once you found it, add some code before and after that function for you to see when the footer start and ends, I would suggest just replace that code like this:

Save your index.php and go to your homepage. View your source code to see the decoded footer and look for the <!–  Footer Start Here –> and <!– Footer End Here –> , copy all codes between those markers/reference and paste it to your footer.php. You should DELETE ALL code in your footer.php before you paste the copied html codes or it will not work.

Now you have the decrypted Wordpress footer! You may now edit your footer links if you want to.

This  yahoo messenger trick is very useful specially for those who own website, you can embed it to your page for communication purposes.

This is our experience. My brother offer me to host my two domain on his “shared hosting” to save money and maximize our hosting monthly fee. Their 24/7 technical support are also satisfying and they will not leave you with your site downed for a long time. Actually excessive traffic will be your always a problem if you have many domain parked in your hosting and if those domain has a good traffic. They will really shutdown your domain specifically not the whole hosting immediately if they see the specific domain are using lots of your server’s memory, but at least they will give you an advice how to correct that. If your domain is really busy, they will require you to install WP Super Cache, this is very helpful wordpress plugin that will improve your site loading time and helpful for the hosting server also. I like it!

Streaming video clip is like an ordinary day to day task on most of Internet Surfer, but that is only suited for non-copyrighted material. Some of the website are also offering FREE movie streaming and LIVE Sports (like JustinTV), but due to DMCA Notice the users channel usually shutdown without any notice by the admin which is understandable, this is very frustrating specially if you are in the middle of the live game isn’t it? Legally, ESPN360.com are also offering free streaming of almost every LIVE Sports they feature. But that will only be available if you are in the US or some allowed Region. That is legally FREE Streaming. Is there any way to stream from them even your location is from out of nowhere? YES! All you need is set your PROXY SERVER SETTING and you have to choose the server located at the US. I think FOX Network also shows FREE TV Series via online streaming and offered on USA resident. This is also can be access using Proxy Servers.
