How To Decode the Encrypted Footer of Wordpress Theme

Many of the free Wordpress template that is downloadable for free in the internet specially those premium themes might have encrypted footer. If you are totally newbie in Wordpress you may not have any idea how to fixed or edit the link. That is disgusting and frustrating if you really like the template / theme and you don’t want to change it but to accepts those unnecessary links in your footer. It also happen to me and I just ignore it for almost a year, imagine my blog topic is about Internet and Technology but the links below my footer are about “Fruit Vegetables”, that is disgusting isn’t it?
Decode the Encrypted Links in Your Wordpress Footer
It takes me three days to figure out how to do this, but it is really easier than you think. Some of the manual in the internet to fix this will require you to go to another site for decryption of coded footer while it can only be done in few easy step.
Here is the sample of coded / encrypted footer

The first thing you need to do is locate when exactly the footer.php start to execute, you can do this by opening your index.php inside your theme’s folder using any text editor and ftp client, I use notepad for this. It is also possible to use the built in editor of Wordpress under Appearance, Theme and Edit, then look for the code “<?php get_footer(); ?>” at your index.php.
Once you found it, add some code before and after that function for you to see when the footer start and ends, I would suggest just replace that code like this:
<!– Footer Start Here –>
<?php get_footer(); ?>
<!– Footer End Here –>
Save your index.php and go to your homepage. View your source code to see the decoded footer and look for the <!– Footer Start Here –> and <!– Footer End Here –> , copy all codes between those markers/reference and paste it to your footer.php. You should DELETE ALL code in your footer.php before you paste the copied html codes or it will not work.
Now you have the decrypted Wordpress footer! You may now edit your footer links if you want to.

No that dosent work. You will only get the HTML output by doing that.. There are other ways to decode it
